EcoMatcher Adopts Another 2000 Tree Forest to Help Protect Earth

8 September 2019, Siniloan, Laguna, Sierra Madre Mountain Range.  Grateful for consistent 1,000 tree planting requests, thank you EcoMatcher for always planting every year since we partnered in 2017. ON the 8th of September, 2000 trees were planted with special thanks also to the 13 IHG volunteers for education & environment, who after planting their own 65 trees, proceeded to help FEED and UPLB forest guards plant the remaining 1000 trees sponsored by EcoMatcher.

Below are more details on EcoMatcher plantings with FEED. May the Forest be with you always, EcoMatcher!

About EcoMatcher logoEcoMatcher facilitates the adoption of trees by organisations, while working with vetted foundations from around the world to plant trees. It acts as a trustworthy partner for corporations to become part of sustainability solutions for the Earth.

More and more companies are starting to realize that climate change and sustainability is a business opportunity, not a burden. Customers and employees are demanding for action. Companies however, need trustworthy partners that offer transparent sustainability solutions.

Welcome to EcoMatcher

Through EcoMatcher, companies can adopt trees, use them in innovative ways and improve their businesses. For example, companies can use the EcoMatcher platform to gift trees they adopt on behalf of the customers, or adopt a whole forest and distribute the trees to each of their employees, or gift trees as a reward for finalizing a survey. The possibilities are endless.

So how we do that?

We partner with vetted foundations from around the world that specialize in tree planting. Through our platform, you have access to information about every tree you adopt, and you can tap on cool digital technologies to make the best use of the trees you have adopted. We cannot change the world by ourselves, however with a bigger team effort we can make a difference, while improving our businesses at the same time.

About FEED

Fostering Education & Environment for Development (FEED Inc.) is a non-profit that reforests parts of the Sierra Madre. Besides helping plant the indigenous Philippine trees, FEED will also help look after the trees to ensure their survival, as the 1,000 trees planted will form part of large-scale reforestation efforts. Massive reforestation could be extremely useful in removing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Contact FEED

FEED runs a number of Students and Volunteers for the Environment (SAVE)Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) – such as mangrove planting for coastal protection or ridge reforestation plantings; One Child, One TreeBio-Intensive Gardens (BIG) for nutrition in public elementary schools and other spaces; Climate Change Survival 101 and other LIVING LEGACY programs – customised environmental engagement activities for individuals and organisations interested in contributing to climate change adaptation efforts and greening critical areas such as watersheds, ridges, and reefs that all require rehabilitation.
