St. Edwards Integrated School Plants at Sierra Madre

27 October 2018, Laguna Quezon Land Grant, Siniloan.  What began as an invitation to FEED – from Ms. Rose Marfil on behalf of the “See Change Environmental Club” of St. Edward Integrated School, Imus Campus – to speak to the students about Food Forests & Gardening with Bio-Intensive Gardens in September, evolved into their pursuit of a tree-planting activity in the Sierra Madre mountains last 27 October 2018.

Their goal was “to bring together bright minds to give us talks that are idea focused, to foster learning, inspiration, and wonder-and help for our environment. The See Change Environmental Club members showed great interest in FEED programs and environmental advocacy, and decided to put their volunteering interests to action, so they joined FEED’s Students and Volunteers for the Environment (SAVE) Tree Planting and Trek Program and planted 5 native Philippine forest trees in the Sierra Madres.

Thank you for contributing an additional 55 strong forest trees to our natural watershed and protection from storms, you are a great inspiration to all and we hope to see you every year!

Thank you Eco-Warriors of St Edwards!

About St Edwards Integrated School

St-Edwards-Integrated-School.pngThe St. Edward Schools was established back in 2012 and our goal is to provide affordable, high quality and Catholic school education for the entire population of Lancaster New City Cavite.

We offer K-12 education right at the heart of Cavite’s growing residential community, and our campuses are equipped with standard academic and supplementary facilities to ensure a truly immersive learning environment for your children.

St-Edwards-School-2.jpgWe are proud to say that we’re part of Lancaster New City Cavite’s master planned community. What separates us from other private schools is that we are a network of schools inside the development that are walkable from the community’s residential communities. Our community schools, which offer Kinder all the way to Grade 6, are located near Lancaster New City’s residential areas that make them walkable for students.

St-Edwards-Itegrated-School-Campus-2.jpgTo date, we have the St. Edward Integrated School (our main campus) and St. Edward Faith Community School inside Lancaster New City Cavite. Our main campus currently houses both grade school and high school levels and has the complete facilities for a fun and significant learning experience. St. Edward Faith Community School, on the other hand is our first community school that offers Kinder to Grade 6. As of school year 2015-2016, we already have almost 2,000 students in just a matter of 4 years!
