5 May 2018, San Juan, La Union. SJL Therapeutic Education and Management Learning Center (SJL TEAM) held its annual TEAM Surf in San Juan, La Union, Philippines.
TEAM Surf is an annual free surfing experience event for children with special needs and their families. In its 8th year, the kids were taught the basics of surfing by local Certified Surf Instructors of the La Union Surf Club, Inc. Teacher Melai Karaan of SJL Team said: “Now in our 8th year, we hope to continue bringing smiles to these kids whose competence, confidence and ability shine under the sun and in the surf.”

Get stoked with the children’s smiles as they played in the water. Even with bigger waves this year, it was amazing how they braved through the experience and surfed under the summer sun😊!
