One Concentrix Philippines Charges Ahead with Non-Stop Reforestation Work

17 August 2024, UP Laguna Quezon Land Grant, Siniloan, Laguna.  250 super keen (as usual) Eco-Warriors from One Concentrix Philippines spearheaded yet again another significant environmental contribution to the reforestation efforts at FEED partner site UP Laguna Quezon Land Grant in Siniloan, Laguna.

Demonstrating their ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, the 250 Eco-Warriors added another 1,250 Philippine native trees to their forest as part of a large-scale tree planting activity ongoing since 2023,  aimed at supporting community based  conservation and protection of the over 9,000 hectares reserve.

One Concentrix Philippines’ shares a broad commitment to environmental stewardship. The organization has been actively involved in various sustainability initiatives over the years, focusing on reducing its environmental footprint and contributing to reforestation efforts across the country.

The UP Sierra Madre Land Grant, a strategically important area within the Sierra Madre mountain range, plays a crucial role in protecting against natural disasters like typhoons and landslides and in preserving vital water resources. By contributing to the reforestation of this region, One Concentrix Philippines is helping to safeguard these essential ecological functions.The company’s involvement in this tree planting activity underscores the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in addressing environmental challenges.

As a leading business process outsourcing (BPO) company, One Concentrix recognizes its responsibility to give back to the community and the environment. Their CSR initiatives are designed not only to achieve immediate environmental goals but also to inspire others to take action.

Species planted were: 150 Lipote, 150 Balitbitan, 150 Apitong, 100 Lawaan, 200 Bani, 200 Yakal, 200 Kupang and 100 Sampalok.
