#LetTheEarthBreathe: KPop Fans Plant Forest for Tomorrow x Together (TXT)

13 May 2021, Siniloan, Laguna, Sierra Madre Mountain Range.  Fans of the K-Pop group Tomorrow x Together (TXT) established a mini forest to celebrate the release of the group’s 4th mini album, “Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” on May 9, 2022.

Inspired by the #LetTheEarthBreathe movement and TXT’s dream to build a better tomorrow, MOA (the fandom) organized a project called “Mini Forest for Minisode 2” and fans from all over the world contributed to give TXT this meaningful gift.

150 tree seedlings were planted in TXT and MOA’s mini forest. MOAs hope that this action can help ease the climate change crisis and contribute to the community reforestation efforts for the Sierra Madre mountain range in the Philippines.

Use any GPS (Global Positioning System) software / applications to input the latitude and longitude coordinates to be able to remotely see the location of your trees planted. Some examples include:

The 150 trees were planted by the permanent team of forest guards on site, who were already managing a simultaneous planting of 200 trees by Maxeon Solar Technologies on the same day, thanks to the willingness of Maxeon participants to help us out! In 2015, the Philippine government submitted to the United Nations the country’s commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The country committed to reduce its carbon emissions by 70 percent by 2030. The carbon dioxide reductions will come from the sectors of energy, transport, waste, forestry and industry.  Join us!  Help us reverse the Earth’s “hothouse climate” tipping point.
