Forester Rey is pictured above finishing the technical demonstration of how to de-bag and plant the seedlings properly to ensure its highest survival of at least 90% of all that we plant.
Forester Reynaldo E. Lorida, who helps manage part of the over 9,000 hectares of protected rainforest, expressed his appreciation to the group, saying: “You could easily have been somewhere else during your weekend, at the malls or at the beach or just resting at home – but instead you are here with us and 20 other forest guards to protect and plant our last remaining forests. So thank you and hope to see more of you in the future!”
