4th Tree Planting Accumulates 1,160 Trees in Bluestone’s Sierra Madre Forest

July 28, 2021, Siniloan, Laguna, Sierra Madre Mountain Range.  The very 8 committed employees of Bluestone hiked the challenging terrain of the Laguna Quezon Land Grant (LQLG) in Siniloan to plant 657 seedlings as part of their annual regular commitment to reforestation. The participants are unfaced with the non stop rain and cold weather they were able to trek 2 km one way. Raining, the usual moderate trek became a difficult trek due to the slippery and muddy terrain.

Again the people are very inspired to help and prepare the land for the planting site, Bluestone provide a secure livelihood for the local community for the next 12 months. Everyone is exhausted but when they reach the top ridge with views of all the ranges, they are energized to plant!
